Q. Please tell us about your background.
After working as a designer at an advertising production company, I joined Izawa Towel in 2021.
Q. Why did you choose Izawa Towels?
I decided to work for this company because I wanted to design products that are closer to consumers, and I felt that it would give me the opportunity to try new things both personally, such as gaining specialized textile knowledge and taking on direction work, and that the company environment was one in which new challenges were constantly being taken on.
Q. Please tell us about your job duties and challenges.
Although my job involves designing products and promotional materials, my main job is to control the production side of our in-house brand "Towel Laboratory" that we sell on Amazon. I design product pages that are in line with the concept of the product design and photos, while thinking about how to interest customers.

Q. Please tell us what kind of team you work in.
I am a member of the design team, which consists of 10 people in Tokyo and Osaka, and also serve as the marketing team leader. On projects, we work together with members in different positions, such as those in charge of planning and sales and PR.
Q. What is the best part and rewarding part of your job?
I think the best part is that you can gain a lot of experience with discretion, regardless of age. For example, you can be recognized for your achievements and appointed as a leader, or be selected as a member of a newly formed team, and there are many opportunities to gain a wide range of experience.

Q. Please tell us about any new skills or experiences you have gained at Izawa Towel.
My previous job was at a production company, so it was only when I joined Izawa Towel that I was able to get a feel for the on-site manufacturing process as a product itself. While working on design, I was able to gain specialized knowledge about towels, which are a unique type of textile. Also, since I started working at the Towel Research Institute, I have acquired the skills to create effective products by planning the text and photos on product pages, flyers, auxiliary materials, social media, and other aspects until the product is delivered to the customer.
Q. Please tell us what kind of growth environment is available.
We are a company that is determined to break the conventional wisdom and create a better towel industry, so there is a lively atmosphere throughout the company to try new things. We have an environment where you can take the initiative and take on new challenges.
Q. Please tell us about your ambitions for the future.
As we aim for further growth across the entire company, I would like to work hard with the awareness that each and every job I am in charge of has an important role. Currently, Towel Laboratory only sells domestically, but with the aim of expanding overseas, I would like to hone my expressions so that I can convey my appeal to customers around the world by making towels that will please them.
