Izawa Towel Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Izawa) is pleased to announce that its offline sales project at domestic retail stores, which officially began in January 2026 for its "Towel Research Institute" towel brand that boasts overwhelming support on e-commerce sites, has surpassed a cumulative total of 2,000 stores as of the end of June, six months after its launch.
This brand, which has previously been available exclusively online, has received numerous requests from customers who want to "try and choose in person" and "purchase in stores." In response, we have announced the launch of a project to begin sales at domestic retail stores in December 2025.
Since its launch in January 2026, test sales at general supermarkets, discount stores, major home improvement stores, etc., have been very well received, and the number of stores carrying the product across the country has been steadily increasing. In just two months, the number of stores carrying the product has doubled from over 1,000 at the end of April, and we have now reached 2,000 stores.
