On February 25, 2026, I attended the press conference for Bic Camera Co., Ltd.'s new original brand, "Big Idea."
"Big Idea" is a new initiative by Bic Camera that develops products based on consumer desires, based on the concept of "Good is better than good." When the brand was launched, our company participated as a joint development partner for new products, and has been planning and developing towel products that meet consumer expectations, leveraging the knowledge we have cultivated through our ODM business.
At the presentation, three series of "Towels for Different Uses" (for dryers, for those who hang out their hair, and for those who care for their hair) were introduced, which were born from the realization that "Shouldn't towels be used in the dryer?"
The brand's products will be available for pre-sale at the Bic Camera Ikebukuro West Exit IT Tower store, which will have its grand opening on Saturday, March 14, 2026. They will then be rolled out to Bic Camera Group stores nationwide and on the e-commerce site from Wednesday, April 1.
