Izawa Towel Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masashi Izawa; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") presented research findings on the "wiping feel" of towels at the Textile Institute of Japan, as part of a joint research project with Shinshu University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Izawa Towel, we directly translate the results of research conducted through industry-academia collaboration into actual product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year, we presented our findings at the academic conference on "The frictional properties of cotton towels and microfiber towels and the damage they inflict on the cuticle," and based on those research findings, we were able to commercialize a new product, "Hair Care Towel Research: The Answer Was Cotton," under our own brand, "Towel Research Institute."<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will make full use of the new research findings regarding the "feel of towels when wiping" in the development of our future products. Please look forward to the birth of unprecedentedly comfortable towel products that pursue the ultimate in "excellent wiping feel."<\/p>\n\n\n\n
